THE SET UP

Our full plots are approximately 60ft by 30ft and cost £50pa, plus a £100 deposit. Our half plots are approximately 15ft by 30ft and cost £25pa, plus a deposit of £50. Deposits will be returned at end of tenancy, presuming that the plot is returned in an equivalent state of cultivation.

The first step is to join our waitlist. Once a plot becomes available and you reach the top of the list, we will invite you to view the plot available and make sure it is the right plot for you. If it's a match, we will move forward with making a formal offering and arranging payment of rent and deposit, so that you can get 'dug in' and join the community.

HOW WE WORK

Bude Allotments are grounded in community and organic growing practices. We're a friendly bunch who enjoy a chat over the allotment fence over a flask of hot tea. Anyone living within a 20 minute drive can join our waitlist.

As a community we expect our members to take part in our quarterly maintenance days and to attend of Annual General Meetings.

Plots must be worked organically, using organic methods and materials. Plots must be kept under cultivation with 75% cultivation (though we understand it might take you a growing season to reach that point).
